Some Installation Tips

You will need to use Window's "compatibility" feature to run the "setup.zip" file. First, open and right click "setup.zip" on disk 1. Next, select properties in the context menu. Now click the "Compatibility" tab. Check the box to use compatibility and select Windows 98. No other boxes need to be checked. Now click OK until everything's closed. This will allow the setup to run normally on an XP or Vista machne.

Unless you install a patch, you will probably have video problems that might even crash the game (or your entire system). You should patch the game before its first run to avoid this. Run the original version if you dare. Note: Once a patch is installed the game runs nicely most of the time. To cure any problems, you might try using "compatibility" with Windows 98 (like above) with Hardman.exe and Hardwar.exe. This usually isn't neccessary, though.
