SOFTWARE

Software is the most cost-effective way to upgrade a Moth. You should determine what software you use the most and determine a minimum upgrade cost for use when considering buying a new Moth. All Moths will come with level 1 of all software except Auto-Pilot and Infra-Red.

You can buy software at either Software Shack in the Downtown Crater, or Software Refinery in the Riverside Crater. That's right, Software Refinery has a Titan branch office. My Geography Section includes directions to these important locations

SOFTWARE TIPS Some of the handier softwares are Power level 2 and Radar level 3. The Power upgrade shows the recharge rate of your Cell which comes in handy when you're trying to center yourself in a Light Well. Radar level 3 is required to find things on Titan's surface - essential for scavenging and piracy. Auto-pilot can get you killed. Learn to dock your Moth manually and quickly. While Auto-pilot is bringing you in, you're extremely vulnerable to attacks by pirates. You can have Auto-pilot, or any other software, removed for $50. My personal pick are: Power Level 2, Radar Level 3, Shield Level 3, Target Level 3, and InfraRed.
