Cash

The new Terminal Interface (TI) in version U3.00 allows you to deposit or withdraw a given amount of cash from your hangar. This is important because you can now set up your hangar to buy items as well as sell them. You don't want your hangar to run out of cash.

To check how much cash you have just enter cash in the TI. This will give you a text display of how much cash you've got in your account. If you are in one of your hangars, it will display how much cash your hangar has as well.

You can not find out how much cash any other hangar has using cash. Just your own. This info is also available in your HUD and "Owner Controls".

Deposit

You can deposit cash into your hangar using the deposit command. First, you must be parked in the hangar you want to deposit the cash into. Now open the TI and enter:

deposit [amount]

The "amount" cannot contain a currency symbol or commas. Use deposit 10000, not "deposit $10,000". This would put $10,000 in your hangar's account.

It's important to be able to deposit cash in your hangars so you can contiue to buy goods from traders. You can also deposit cash in any other hangar as well. Great way to make online game payoffs.

Withdraw

You can withdraw cash from any of your hangars. You must own the hangar before you can withdraw cash. You must also be parked in the hangar to get its money.

withdraw 10000

The above would take $10,000 dollars from your hangar and put it in your account.

Getting A Thug's Cash

When your thug sells goods using sellall the cash from the sell goes into his account. To get the money, we'll use the commands above. First, see how much cash he's got:

exec topdog,cash

Next, order him to your hangar so he can deposit some of his money. He must be in your hangar to deposit the money there. Don't run him broke, he may need some cash for repairs.

order topdog,go,downtown 05

Finally, get him to deposit some cash:

exec topdog,deposit,10000

The command above would have Topdog deposit $10,000 into your hangar's account. Now you can go to your hangar and get it out with:

widthdraw 10000

Your thug can deposit money into any hangar he's parked in just like you can.
