Below are screenshots and step-by-step directions to the Laz Secret Base. Click the images for a bigger and clearer image in a separate window. Please be patient while the images load.

The Laz Secret Base is in the Resevoir Crater on the backside of the island on which the Light Well is located. If you follow the shoreline of this island around staying near water level, you can't miss the square alcove leading to the Laz Secret Base. Remember that it's a good idea to have Laz amnesty before searching for their Secret Base until you get comfortable with finding it quickly. Locating and targeting the base does not put you on the Laz Enemies List. They don't seem to mind.

Above shows our starting point at Light Well #7 in the Resevoir Crater. Just enter the Resevoir Crater and target the Light Well from the "Local Services" list of your Nav Menu ("n" key). Now face the Light Well head on and prepare to turn to your right.

Turn right and follow the island's coast until you can see the Laz Purifier. Keep following the shoreline until you're at the backside of the island.

This image shows the left turn you'll need to make to get to the backside of the island. Start descending to water level and keep following the islands edge. The base is at water level.

The image above shows the square alcove where the door to the Laz secret base lies.

And here it is !! The Laz Secret Base. Center this door in your HUD and press the "t" key to target the base. Now it will appear in your building's list in your Nav Menu ("n" key). It's a good idea to lock this buiding in your building's list by clicking the "Lock" button. Now it will be there when you need it no matter how many other buildings you target in the meantime.
